Dear Optimists,
We are pleased to announce
the Optimist Open House at Believe in Tomorrow at St. Casimirs will be held on
Saturday, June 10th from 10AM till Noon. This day is exclusive for Optimists,
their families, and friends. St. Casimirs is located at 2712 O'Donnell Street,
Baltimore, MD 21224 (Canton). Parking is plentiful.
Come and see what your
hard work has accomplished through your support and dedication. See the 7
individually decorated suites for bone marrow transplant patients of the
Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Childhood Cancer Center. See the Optimist Suite
and the communal kitchen supported by your foundation. Enjoy the outdoor patio
garden and the beautiful view of Baltimore City from the rooftop deck.

On May 10th Optimist International President Mike Litzenberger and wife Judy presented a check in the amount of $295,000 to Dr. Abeloff (on behalf of Dr.Bob Arceci) as an installment on the research grant at the Sidney Kimmel Childhood Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.
